About Elena Popova
Elena Popova is based in Berlin and works as an independent stage and costume designer in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands on various opera, dance, theatre projects and site- specific performances.
She crafts artistic experiences that intertwine personal and collective memory. Starting from archival and found materials, she transforms space into layered narratives. The stage design and costumes combine physical and digital realms, inviting audience into dynamic environments. The works aim to invite reflection and engagement, bridging storytelling with the present moment.
